The Cause, the Commitment, as FLIWC continues to flourish

There are many wine competitions that occur throughout the calendar year that attract top wines from around the world, but one has captured the hearts and souls of volunteers and wine judges in this area.

The actual judging of the competition is a wrap and a huge sucess by every measurement possible. 73 judges from over 20 countries gathering in Rochester at the Holiday Inn Downtown to review and evaluate the 3,824 entries from 916 wineries comprising all 50 United States, 6 provinces of Canada and 26 countries overall.

"Camp Good Days and Special Times and the hundreds of kids with cancer who have the opportunity to just be a kid for awhile is the primary purpose of the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition ," remarked Gary Mervis. "The commitment has been simply amazing every year.
